The Youth Orchestra (YO) is DCYOP’s most advanced ensemble. The Youth Orchestra performs repertoire from the standard orchestral literature. Known as the YO, the group is comprised largely of advanced high school students. YO appears frequently at venues such as the Kennedy Center, the National Cathedral, the Atlas Theater and has toured over 20 countries. Entrance is by audition only.
