The Youth Philharmonic is an advanced orchestra that aims to elevate students’ performance level, ensemble skills, and musical confidence. The YP performs works from the standard orchestral literature and new works, including premieres. YP plays at venues such as the THEARC, the UDC Theater of the Arts, and the Lincoln Memorial.
Schedule: Saturdays, 9:00-11:45am (with sectionals scheduled during this time as needed)

Chamber Music
Small groups (2-8 musicians each) that provide learning and performance opportunities outside of students' primary ensembles. Chamber groups will meet from about 12:00pm-1:00pm every week, so students must be available during that timeframe to join. Consistent attendance is essential for DCYOP's Chamber Music program! Chamber Music tuition is $100 (paid during registration).
