Description

This program is a one-week exploration of orchestral music for beginners who have never played an instrument (1st - 3rd grade). It will consist of the following activities: 

  • Exploring, learning about, and trying instruments from different instrument families 

  • Exploring orchestral music alongside visual arts 

  • Exploring music and movement (dance/yoga) 

  • Screen free outdoor play 

Program Location: MacFarland Middle School (4400 Iowa Ave NW, Washington, DC 20011)

 

Program Dates: June 7th-July 11th

 

Program Hours: 9:30am-3:30pm
